Diese Sorte ist ideal für schattige Beete, unter Bäumen oder in naturnahen Gärten, wo sie Struktur, Ruhe und ganzjähriges Grün bietet. Polystichum setiferum ‘Herrenhausen’ gedeiht am besten an geschützten, halbschattigen bis schattigen Standorten in humusreichem, feuchtem Boden.
