Nepeta × faassenii, auch Katzenminze genannt, ist eine robuste und reich blühende Staude mit aromatischem graugrünem Laub und zahlreichen lavendelblauen Blüten vom späten Frühjahr bis weit in den Sommer. Diese beliebte Pflanze eignet sich hervorragend für Beete, Rabatten und Flächenpflanzungen, wo sie eine lockere, natürliche Wirkung erzielt und langanhaltende Farbe bietet. Nepeta × faassenii bevorzugt einen sonnigen Standort und gut durchlässigen Boden, ist pflegeleicht und sehr winterhart. Zudem zieht sie viele Bienen und Schmetterlinge an und ist ausgesprochen trockenheitsverträglich.
